IATSE Supports the Wisconsin Labor Protests

The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts supports the labor protests in Wisconsin.  International President, Matthew D. Loeb writes:

Please be assured that the International supports the efforts being made by Local 251 and all the IATSE Locals in Wisconsin, and we will be coordinating our efforts with the AFL-CIO. Please stay close to the public sector unions as well as the State and Local labor bodies and work with them in these efforts.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support on this attack on collective bargaining.

Protests to Support Public Employees

Stagehands protesting to support public employees

IATSE Local 251 is supporting the hard working public employees of the State of Wisconsin. Our membership has been at the Capitol every day. Our members have slept in the Capitol, carried signs, beat drums, set up stages and handed out donuts. We are proud of our Union brethren for the continued peaceful pressure they are applying to our state government.
